Extract from 'Find Your Way In the Toohey Forest.' 'The Largest surviving tree in the Forest is a StringyBark (Eucalpytus carnea or Eucalyptus umbra). It stands 35 metres high and shows the Impact of time.Much of the bark is missing around the trunk and there are several dead limbs. An Axe cut into the trunk suggests the tree was once targeted by timber getters who changed their mind.
